I almost forgot! Last year I posted about my love and hunt for a beautiful free standing cupboard here. Well, I finally found one. She is residing in the spare room for now, until her special spot is built (yes, I am a chicken before the egg kinda girl), though is happy filled to the brim with my bits.
You can tell the quality of antique furniture by how heavy the pieces are. This is due to the quality of the materials and craftsmanship of the techniques used at the time.
