On a recent buying trip I picked up this little art deco trophy; apart from rewarding the 'Second Grade Premiers' in 1926 (not sure who they were), this trophy was also designed to hold small stemmed flowers - now that's my sort of trophy! There is nothing especially unique about it, though I happen to really see some beauty in it.
The trophy is now perched up proudly on the bathroom shelf - I wonder what the 'Second Grade Premiers' would think of that!
